Liz Schubert brings low-drama, high-IQ point-guard value to Sam Houston
Liz Schubert profiles as a compact, under-the-radar point guard whose value comes from quick decision-making, steady ball handling, and disruptive on-ball defense rather than gaudy scoring volume; she’s listed at 5-foot-6 and has been described as a smart, poised floor general for Sam Houston. The catch is that publicly available game-stat detail is thin, so the better read is fit: if your team wants a disciplined guard who can keep the offense organized, compete every possession, and doesn’t need the ball to matter, Schubert looks like a sneaky-good backcourt fit.
