NC State RHP Landon Carr brings proven JUCO run prevention and late-game versatility
Carr arrives at NC State after a standout 2024 at Gaston College, where he posted a 7-1 record, 1.88 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 56 strikeouts in 48 innings while earning Region 10 Relief Pitcher of the Year honors and first-team All-Region recognition; he also showed flexibility by making six starts and throwing two complete games. That profile suggests a competitive, strike-throwing arm who can help in multiple roles, even though his Wolfpack sample so far has been tiny (one inning in 2025). If you want a proven winner with bullpen value and starter upside, he fits.
