Robert Walsh brings veteran edge and locker-room steadiness to Montana State’s linebacker room
Walsh stands out less as a stat-sheet star and more as a dependable, experienced linebacker who has earned trust as the senior voice in Montana State’s room. Coverage on the Bobcats describes him as an “elder statesman,” which points to leadership, toughness, and the kind of steady presence coaches value when younger players are still learning the system. If you want a fit who can raise the floor with discipline, communication, and veteran composure rather than flash, Walsh is the kind of linebacker worth caring about.
