seasoned Cyclone DB with real game and classroom mileage
Jamaal Richardson is a 6-foot-1, 196-pound defensive back who played for Iowa State from 2014-17 and earned second-team Academic All-Big 12 honors in 2016 plus Dean’s List recognition in 2017, signaling a disciplined, coachable profile[1][2]. He was part of Iowa State’s 2017 Liberty Bowl championship team and later transitioned into a student assistant role, which points to strong football IQ, leadership, and a team-first mentality[2]. That combination makes him attractive for a program that values reliability, preparation, and DBs who bring professionalism as much as physical tools[1][2].
