Dwight Bootle II brings versatile, physical playmaking to Charlotte’s secondary
Bootle is a compact, experienced DB who stands out for his versatility, competitive edge, and knack for making disruptive plays in the run game and on special teams. In 2025 for Charlotte, he logged 7 tackles and a pass breakup in limited action, and his broader profile includes prior production at Nebraska plus a history of strong tackling and ball disruption from high school. He looks like a fit for teams that value a tough, assignment-sound defensive back who plays with urgency and can contribute beyond coverage.
