Diego Arias brings punting depth to Norfolk State, but public stat detail is thin
Diego Arias is listed as a punter on Norfolk State’s 2026 roster, which signals a specialist role rather than a high-volume stat line[1]. The strongest takeaway is fit: punters win with consistency, field position, and trust, and Arias appears to be in that “ready to help a college team win” conversation used by national punting evaluations[2]. What’s missing from public reporting is a detailed, season-by-season production trail, so the best read is that he projects as a roster-value piece whose impact will show up in hidden yards, not flashy box scores[1][2].
