Middle Tennessee’s Dustin Alley: versatile depth piece with special-teams roots
Dustin Alley is listed by Middle Tennessee as a freshman, 5-foot-11, 180-pound defensive back from McDonough, Georgia, though the team roster page also shows him as WR in the available listing, so his exact current usage may be in transition[1]. He looks like a classic “fit matters” player: compact frame, versatility, and the kind of special-teams/depth value that coaches love because it travels well from week to week[1]. There were no reliable 2026 stat leaders or ranking numbers surfaced for him in the available material, so the best read is that he’s a developmental roster add rather than a headline-grabber right now[1].
