Bobby Jones brings length, ball skills, and reliability to Columbia’s secondary
Bobby Jones is a Columbia Lions cornerback whose appeal is his coverage upside: at the FCS level, a good CB can change games by limiting explosive passes, and Jones fits that profile if he’s winning one-on-ones and showing disciplined technique. The available public results do not provide current Columbia-specific 2026 production, so the safest read is that his value depends on whether he can translate speed, leverage, and tackling consistency into steady snaps. If your staff wants a developmental defensive back with upside in man coverage, he’s worth a closer look.
