Watende Favors brings veteran guard polish to Cal Poly
Watende Favors is listed as a Cal Poly guard and brings the look of a steady, experienced backcourt piece rather than a flashy stat-chaser; ESPN had him listed with guard status and no current stat line available, which suggests his value is more about role, feel, and fit than box-score volume[1]. The Mustangs’ 2025-26 roster and team coverage show a program built around a deep, internationally varied rotation, so Favors’ appeal is likely in complementing that system with composure, ball security, and matchup flexibility[3][4].
