Local guard depth piece for Grambling State
Robert Wiley is a Grambling State freshman guard from Grambling, Louisiana, whose current profile is more about developmental upside than box-score production: ESPN lists him at 1.2 points, 0.9 rebounds, 0.3 assists and 27.7% shooting in his career college stats, while Grambling’s roster lists him at 6-0, 170. The fit question is simple—he looks like a low-usage backcourt piece with hometown roots and room to grow, but there isn’t evidence yet of major scoring or playmaking impact at the Division I level.
