FIU lineman Trenton Saunders brings veteran grit and versatility
Trenton Saunders is a seasoned FIU offensive guard whose value has always been rooted in reliability, versatility, and old-school trench toughness: in the 2016 season, he started all 12 games and helped the Panthers generate 4,503 yards of total offense, showing he could anchor the line and hold up over a full workload. He also logged time on both offense and defense earlier in his FIU career, which speaks to his adaptability and willingness to do whatever the staff needs. For a team, that kind of dependable, physical, no-drama lineman is usually a very good fit.
