Houston’s bruising, efficient senior forward
In the 2010-11 season, Maurice McNeil gave Houston a sturdy inside presence, averaging 13.3 points and 7.6 rebounds while shooting 53.3% from the field; he also showed up as a two-way contributor with 42 blocks and 22 steals. The big differentiator here is feel plus force: he was described by Houston as an athletic, long-armed forward who could score and rebound, and he led the Cougars with seven double-doubles that season. If your team wants a physical frontcourt piece who can finish efficiently, defend the rim, and bring edge, he fit the bill nicely.
