towering lefty QB with intriguing frame, but little recent production at Eastern Michigan
Pensyl’s calling card is his pro-style pocket-passer profile: at 6-foot-6/6-foot-7, he brought size, a strong recruiting pedigree, and a left-handed release that stood out in the 2015 class. At Eastern Michigan, though, his on-field résumé is tiny — in the 2016 season he completed 2 of 2 passes for 27 yards and no touchdowns, so there’s not much statistical evidence of a breakout. What makes him interesting is the upside of that frame and skill set, but for a team, he looks more like a developmental depth add than a proven current starter.
