Rich Bedesem gives Virginia a proven playmaking linebacker with big-snap instincts
Rich Bedesem’s value is in his production and feel for the game: ESPN lists him with 6 solo tackles, 1 sack, and 1 interception, showing a linebacker who can finish plays and create disruption when he’s around the ball.[1] For Virginia, that kind of versatile, assignment-sound defender matters because he offers both splash-play upside and reliable run support, which makes him a good fit for a defense that wants activity and intelligence in the middle of the field.[1]
