Leonard Farrow brings proven production and big-play juice to FAU’s backfield
In the 2025 season, Leonard Farrow was a Division II force at Fairmont State, rushing for 1,438 yards on 178 carries with 12 rushing touchdowns and 8.1 yards per carry, then earning a preseason Doak Walker Award nod after transferring to Florida Atlantic for 2026. He looks like a compact, shifty back with burst, vision, and enough strength to bounce off contact, plus real receiving upside. The catch: this is a major jump to FBS, so the key question is whether his explosiveness and all-purpose skill translate against faster defenses.
