Duran Smith brings proven linebacker production and veteran spark to Marshall
Duran Smith stands out as a disruptive, high-activity linebacker whose value goes beyond raw tackles: Marshall’s stat pages and historical MAC recognition show him as a proven playmaker with a reputation for being the sparkplug of the defense, including a 16-solo-tackle, 11-assist performance that earned conference honors. That profile suggests a physical, instinctive defender who can elevate the tempo of a unit and fit well for a team that wants toughness, leadership, and steady run support.
