Gabriel Amegatcher brings length, ball disruption, and proven starting experience to NIU's secondary
Amegatcher is a **long, active cornerback** who has shown real playmaking chops, especially in the 2022 season at NIU when he started all 11 games and finished with **18 tackles, eight pass breakups, and a forced fumble**. He also previously posted **11 tackles, two fumble recoveries, and an interception** in 2021 at Nebraska-Kearney, and NIU noted he ran the **best 40-yard time** among Huskie participants at Pro Day in 2024. The fit question is simple: if you want a defender with **speed, experience, and disruptive cover skills**, he’s a strong candidate for a role that values outside versatility and physicality.[4][6][3][2]
