the steady UIC guard who could swing a game with shot-making and toughness
Jon-Pierre Mitchom’s UIC profile shows a guard who has long been trusted in meaningful moments, including a senior-season stretch at UIC where he appeared in all 34 games, averaged 6.2 points, and delivered in the Horizon League title game with 12 points and four threes. His best differentiator is composure: he’s been described by game recaps as a timely scorer and rebounder from the guard spot, with enough competitiveness to help UIC survive tight finishes. If you want a reliable, veteran-leaning guard who can hit timely shots and bring edge, he’s the kind of fit coaches notice.
