Mike Jones Brings Veteran Interior Power to Prairie View A&M’s Defensive Front
Mike Jones is a defensive lineman for Prairie View A&M, and the key thing to know is that his value goes beyond raw box-score numbers: interior DL play is often about occupying blockers, compressing lanes, and creating cleanup chances for teammates. Based on the available public results, there isn’t reliable recent stat-leader data to verify his current production, so the clearest read is role and fit—he projects as a physical, leverage-driven trench player who can help set a tougher tone up front. If your team needs toughness, gap discipline, and someone who makes life harder for opposing run games, Jones is worth a look.
