high-upside Georgia Tech guard with elite scoring pedigree and defensive edge
Rice arrives at Georgia Tech with a proven scoring resume from Centerville, where he finished his high school career as Iowa’s Mr. Basketball and led the state in scoring at 30.2 points per game in his senior season. He stands out as an aggressive, high-motor guard who can score in bunches and also leave a mark defensively, with school-record steal production and major all-state recognition backing the production. His fit will depend on translating that shot creation and intensity to the college pace, but the ceiling is clear for a team needing a tough, competitive perimeter scorer.[3][4][5][6]
