Veteran Grambling DB Ryan Fields brings ball skills and steady tackling
Ryan Fields has been a dependable presence for Grambling State’s secondary, with ESPN listing him at 17 solo tackles, 2 interceptions, and 2 pass breakups in the 2026 season profile. At 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds, he brings length, experience, and the kind of back-end versatility coaches like in a DB who can cover, tackle, and make a timely play on the ball. He also has a strong academic/leadership track record, which fits the profile of a mature, low-drama fit for a team needing veteran stability.
