Joe Chiarodo brings two-way upside and early Alabama trust
Joe Chiarodo is a freshman two-way piece for Alabama whose game pops because he can help you on the mound and in the outfield, not just in one lane. In 2026, he earned his first collegiate start and win against Alabama State, throwing 2.0 scoreless innings, and he also showed enough bat-to-ball value to collect his first collegiate hits during Alabama’s regional run. Recruiting outlets tagged him as a high-end Illinois athlete with a fastball that has touched 93 mph, a sharp breaking ball, and center-field speed, making him a fit for teams that value versatility, athleticism, and real arm talent.
