Alcorn State’s backfield note, but not enough public data to crown him yet
Publicly available 2025-26 Alcorn State team stats highlight running back Reggie Davis as the Braves’ featured ground weapon, while Marcus Holmes does not show up in the accessible stat-leader data, so his current production and role are not clearly documented in the sources reviewed.[1][3][8] For a team fit, that makes Holmes more of a watch-list evaluation than an instant plug-and-play answer: there isn’t enough reliable public evidence here to verify workload, explosiveness, durability, or big-play impact yet.[2][12]
