Josh Pope brings old-school linebacker production and Preseason All-MEAC pedigree
Josh Pope has been recognized as a First Team Preseason All-MEAC linebacker and, in the 2008 season, entered as Delaware State’s top returning tackler with 75 stops from the prior year. He also showed playmaking juice with a 5-tackle, 2-TFL, 1-sack performance against Morgan State and another 10-tackle outing at Hampton, signaling a high-motor, behind-the-scenes tone-setter who can diagnose, chase, and finish. If you want a productive, physical linebacker who already has all-conference respect, Pope looks like a strong fit.
