Ryan Lesch brings veteran free-safety instincts and proven ball production to Portland State
Ryan Lesch is a seasoned Portland State safety whose value shows up in turnovers, reliability, and leadership: in 2018 he logged 42 tackles, added an interception and pass breakup, and was named Academic All-Big Sky, while in 2019 he started the first three games before a knee injury ended his season but still finished with 13 tackles, a tackle for loss, a forced fumble, a breakup and an interception. Listed as a leader in the Vikings’ secondary, he fits teams that want a smart, experienced back-end defender with proven range and instincts rather than just raw measurables.
