veteran UAB QB with a leader’s edge, but little 2026 on-field résumé
McKee stands out more for experience, leadership, and steadiness than box-score fireworks: his UAB profile notes he is a senior quarterback who came to Birmingham after Sierra College, and his public bio says he values leadership, hard work, and academics. In available 2026 team stats, UAB’s offense has leaned on balanced efficiency rather than a huge passing load, so McKee projects as a fit for a coach who wants a composed, mature presence under center. One caveat: there’s very limited current public production data attached to him, so his value is as much about command and reliability as raw numbers.
