In the 2025 high school season, Carter Tucker showed ace-level dominance with a 0.88 ERA, 110 strikeouts in 63.1 innings, and a .160 batting average against, then arrived at California Baptist as a freshman RHP with All-CIF pedigree and the kind of quiet, competitive edge coaches love[1][2]. Early outside buzz also points to immediate swing-and-miss stuff, with a July 2026 NBC World Series preview highlighting him for 4 shutout innings and 5 strikeouts as a pitcher to watch[3].
