Martin Blake brings walk-on toughness and downhill versatility to the Aztecs
Blake’s value is in his compact, physical style: San Diego State lists him as a versatile back who can run through contact or outrun defenders, and he earned a scholarship after rising from walk-on status. He logged 37 carries for 136 yards and a touchdown in his college production profile, with Fox Sports noting he topped 200 scrimmage yards in 2023 before moving on from SDSU. He is the kind of low-drama, high-effort back who can fit a physical run game, but his appeal is more about toughness, depth value, and developmental upside than proven star production.
