Big Frame, Lefty Bat, and a Freshman Path to Omaha Impact
Reed Strohmeyer is a 6-3, left-handed-hitting Nebraska infielder from Dubuque who entered the 2026 season as a freshman and has already shown enough upside to stay on the radar for the Huskers’ 2027 roster. He’s the kind of player teams like: projectable size, a lefty bat, and utility value in the infield, plus enough confidence to earn late-season game action and even a pinch-hit homer in Nebraska’s 2026 NCAA tournament run. For a fit, think development piece with power potential rather than finished product.
