Brian Tonelli brings a rugged, coach-approved lineman pedigree to CCSU
Brian Tonelli is a classic trench-warfare defender: a tenacious lineman whose former coach called him the best lineman he had coached, and whose background includes being a three-sport captain and all-scholastic football selection in high school before continuing to Central Connecticut State[1]. That kind of reputation matters because it suggests toughness, leadership, and effort-first reliability, not just measurable size or highlight-reel numbers[1]. If you need a DL who can anchor with grit and bring a hard-nosed, team-first edge, Tonelli checks the right boxes[1].
