Oregon legacy name, but not an active Ducks linebacker story
Ty Tomlin’s current, verifiable football profile is not as an Oregon Ducks linebacker; the available reliable sources point to him as a longtime Oregon high school coach, while Oregon football records only show a much older Ty Tomlin on the Ducks roster in the early 2000s[2][9][10]. If you’re evaluating him as a fit for a roster today, the key takeaway is leadership and football knowledge from the coaching side, not current college linebacker production, rankings, or stat-leader impact[2][5][10].
