proven interior trench work, but current Wagner impact is hard to verify
Sal Gigante is a Wagner defensive lineman whose name appears in the program’s archived game logs as a rotational contributor in 2010, including 5 total tackles in one game, but there is no current 2026 player stat line available in the gathered sources. The biggest differentiator that can be confirmed is positional value: interior DL who can help with gap control, dirty work, and run fits — the kind of player coaches love even when the box score stays quiet. For a team, the fit depends on whether it needs a tough-bodied, depth-building lineman rather than a headline sack artist.
