Alden Darby Jr. was a heat-seeking, turnover-making safety for ASU
In his Arizona State career, Alden Darby emerged as a physical, instinctive defensive back who thrived in big moments—moving from corner to safety, piling up 217 career tackles, 10 interceptions, 26 pass breakups, and two pick-sixes, including a standout 2013 season that earned First-Team All-Pac-12 honors. He stood out for his ball skills, toughness, and intensity, plus the kind of leadership and motor coaches love; the only catch is that his ASU résumé is historical, not current, because he played there from 2010 to 2013.
