Maryland's Selfless LT Anchor from the 2008 Terrapins Era
Scott Burley, Maryland's rock-solid left tackle in 2008, started all six early games, graded out as top lineman in key ACC matchups like vs. No. 8 Boston College (53 snaps), and delivered game-changing hustle plays—like stripping a fumble and recovering it at the Nevada 45 in the Humanitarian Bowl win. Teammates revered his selfless intensity and reliability blocking for RB Da'Rel Scott's 1,133-yard season; a high-motor leader with no notable injury flags, Burley was a top-150 recruit whose blue-collar grit made him a perfect fit for power-run schemes.
