Goanar Mar brings size and veteran forward depth to UNI
Mar is a 6-6 forward whose current production at Northern Iowa is modest, but his value is in his positional versatility and experience, with ESPN listing him at 5.2 points and 2.9 rebounds per game this season[2]. He has shown he can stretch the floor before, including a 10.9-point, 4.4-rebound season at George Mason with strong three-point shooting, which suggests a skill set that can fit modern lineups[5]. If you need a connective forward who can handle multiple roles rather than a pure volume scorer, he is worth a look.
