Experienced Guard With a Proven Scoring Touch
Derek Gray has shown real backcourt value as a scoring guard with size and shot creation—at UW-Whitewater in the 2021-22 season, he averaged 14.8 points while shooting 80.6% from the free-throw line and piling up 444 points, which points to a reliable, aggressive offensive profile. Reliable sources also note his high work ethic and consistent approach, suggesting a player who competes hard and fits teams looking for a steady, attack-minded guard. One note: publicly available search results show his recent college production at Wisconsin-Whitewater, so if you mean a different Derek Gray now at Campbell, that identity needs confirmation before projecting fit more precisely.
