steady Delaware State linebacker with proven tackle production
Ahmed Bailey has been a durable, assignment-sound presence for Delaware State, showing up as a tackling linebacker who can finish plays and contribute in all phases of the defense. In his 2021 season, he played in every game and totaled 37 tackles, 25 solo stops, 4.5 tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks, and a pass breakup, with a season-high nine tackles against Howard; that kind of range and consistency is exactly what coaches love in the middle of a defense. He looks like a reliable fit for a program needing discipline, toughness, and a lunch-pail tone-setter.
