Veteran Hawaii DB with special-teams grit and a pick-six flash
JoPierre Davis brings veteran defensive-back experience to Hawaii, and in the 2007 season he played in 10 games mainly on special teams while also returning an interception 57 yards for a touchdown against New Mexico State. That kind of splash-play ability hints at a useful, high-energy defender who can change field position and make you pay for mistakes. For a team, he fits as a competitive, versatile depth piece with proven game-day toughness and a knack for big moments rather than a stat-stuffing headline maker.
