seasoned guard with clutch, efficient scoring touch
Deijah Blanks brings veteran guard savvy and reliable shot-making to UC Irvine, with past UCI notes highlighting her as a go-to clutch player and a scorer who can pile up points without forcing the issue. In the 2017-18 season, she appeared in 31 games for the Anteaters, scored 5.5 points per game, and shot 76.1% from the free-throw line; at Utah Valley before that, she posted 8.4 points and 4.4 rebounds per game as a sophomore, including a 29-point game and a perfect night from the field, 3-point range, and the line. If you want a poised guard who can steady a lineup and deliver in big moments, she fits that bill.
