Carey McKnight brings Alabama State a proven safety with veteran coverage instincts
McKnight is a safety whose value is built on **coverage IQ, anticipation, and physical play**, making him the kind of defensive back who can erase mistakes and help stabilize a secondary. Publicly available current stat detail is limited in the search results, but ESPN lists him on Alabama State’s roster, and prior scouting-style mentions across his football background emphasize ball skills and feel for the game over pure measurables. If you need a defensive back who can process quickly, play with toughness, and fit into a disciplined back end, he profiles as a smart addition.
