Promising freshman outfielder with Canadian power potential
Austin Boylan is a freshman outfielder for North Dakota State in the 2026 season, listed at 5-foot-9, 198 pounds, and bats and throws right-handed. His profile points to a sturdy, physical corner-outfield build with some pop, and his path from Barrie, Ontario, plus a reported mental battle through injury, suggests resilience and edge. He looks like a fit for a team that values upside, competitiveness, and developmental runway more than instant polish.
