Victor Joseph brings veteran shot-making and steady scoring pop to Cal Poly
In the 2017 season, Victor Joseph was a reliable scoring guard for Cal Poly, averaging 12.0 points per game and finishing among the team’s most efficient free-throw shooters at 81.7%. He later upped that production in the 2018 season to 14.4 points per game while starting all 31 games, giving the Mustangs a proven, tough-shot creator who could also get hot from deep. The big differentiator: he wasn’t just a box-score scorer — he had the feel of a guard who could swing momentum, as shown by multiple high-leverage scoring bursts and a strong competitive edge.
