Donovan Mitchell is Louisville royalty—now a proven NBA alpha with elite shot creation
In the 2025-26 season, former Louisville guard Donovan Mitchell delivered superstar production, averaging 27.9 points, 5.7 assists, and 4.5 rebounds per game while shooting 48.3% from the field and 36.4% from three. He’s a high-motor, big-moment scorer with real two-way pressure, but the bigger differentiator is the blend of explosive self-creation, leadership, and postseason resume that has made him a seven-time All-Star and an All-NBA Second Team selection in 2026. If you want a guard who can carry an offense and sell hope instantly, this is your guy.
