David McDaniel’s calling card: disruptive, assignment-sound Leatherneck DB with a knack for changing field position
David McDaniel has been a high-impact Western Illinois defensive back, known for making game-turning plays in the 2014 season, including multiple blocked kicks and a team-leading block total that put him among the best in the MVFC and nationally. His value goes beyond tackles: he brings special-teams juice, discipline, and a relentless motor that shows up on pressure plays and in clutch moments. If you want a defender who can flip momentum, McDaniel fits; if you want a pure shutdown corner résumé, the data suggests his biggest edge is disruption and toughness rather than gaudy coverage stats.
