disruptive, steady two-way guard with proven WSU impact
Awa was a high-impact Washington State guard whose profile was built on **defense, playmaking, and efficiency**: in her WSU career notes, she led the team with **53 steals and 89 assists** in one season while also posting **6.1 points per game** and the team’s best shooting percentage, which points to a guard who can affect winning without needing high usage.[4] Her differentiator was two-way reliability—active hands, solid decision-making, and enough offensive feel to complement a lineup rather than force it—making her the kind of fit coaches value when they need a disciplined, low-drama connector rather than a pure volume scorer.[4][6]
