Mahmoud Fofana brings efficient two-way production and grown-man rebounding to CSUN
In the 2025-26 season, Mahmoud Fofana has been a reliable frontcourt engine for CSUN, following a 2024-25 campaign in which he started 32 of 33 games and averaged 8.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.2 steals while shooting 58.1% from the field.[1][7][9] He’s the kind of forward coaches love: physical, steady, and increasingly polished inside the arc, with enough defensive activity and rebounding to change possessions without needing the ball a ton.[4][6][7] The big question for roster fit is whether his limited perimeter scoring grows, but if you want toughness, efficiency, and a strong motor, he’s a very solid fit.[1][4][9]
