veteran UND linebacker who brings proven production and big-game instincts
Goertz’s current season stats aren’t publicly listed in the available North Dakota roster data, but his profile still pops: in the 2010 season he posted a game-high 13 tackles against South Dakota State and was noted for a pass breakup plus near-interceptions, showing active hands and real playmaking feel. He was also named a second-team all-conference selection entering the 2011 season, which points to respect from coaches and league evaluators. Bottom line: he looks like a tough, instinctive linebacker with range and intensity—more “football player” than box-score robot.
