NC State’s tackling machine turned Wolfpack legend
Levar Fisher is not a current NC State player—he’s a Wolfpack legend whose résumé still pops: he set the school tackle record with 492, earned first-team All-ACC twice, and was the 2000 ACC Defensive Player of the Year. In the 2000 season, he led the nation with 15.1 tackles per game, then followed with first-team All-America honors in 2001. If you want a high-motor, no-nonsense linebacker archetype, Fisher is the gold standard; for a current roster fit, this is a historical profile, not an active-availability evaluation.
