KD Floyd brings veteran versatility and off-field leadership to South Alabama
KD Floyd is a South Alabama linebacker known more for his intangibles than splashy box-score numbers: he walked on, earned his place, and has been praised for leadership, communication skills, and a high-motor presence that fits a team-first defense. In 2026, he is listed on South Alabama’s football roster and remains valued as a dependable, versatile piece rather than a headline-grabbing stat machine. If you want a culture fit who can stabilize a room, he’s the kind of smart, gritty defender coaches love.
