Kansas State OL Prospect Turned NFL Sixth-Rounder
Tavon Rooks, a towering 6-5, 300-pound offensive tackle for the Kansas State Wildcats, started 10 of 13 games in the 2012 season after earning No. 23 JUCO national ranking at Navarro College and No. 8 OT high school recruit in Texas (247Sports 89 rating); his raw athleticism, size, and pass-protection prowess made him a sixth-round pick by the Saints in 2014, though a brief NFL stint with limited experience highlights injury risks—ideal for teams needing developmental depth with high-upside physical tools.
